Background

Located in the Woodcote Smallholdings in the London Borough of Sutton, South London, Sutton Community Farm sits within the greenbelt and is surrounded by other land-based businesses. The farm includes open fields and polytunnels, growing primarily annual vegetable crops for its seasonal veg boxes, alongside a variety of fruit trees and bushes.

As a values-led community enterprise, ethics underpin everything they do. They source only organic produce, pay farmers fairly, promote seasonality, and support short supply chains — reducing packaging and food waste while strengthening local food economies.

The Challenge

Sutton Community Farm needed a future-proof system. Their previous website was split across two domains, and their bespoke build was costly to maintain.

They required a cost-effective solution capable of managing a complex retail offer — including veg bags, bread, eggs, and pantry items — while handling both home delivery and collection points.

The Solution

By moving to the Growing Good platform, Sutton Community Farm created a modern, visually engaging website using our advanced page builder.

The new unified system seamlessly manages subscription orders while allowing them to regularly update content about farm events, volunteering, and community activities — all in one place.
