Background
Flourish Produce is set in the fields along the River Granta in South Cambridgeshire, between the villages of Hildersham and Linton. Founded in the summer of 2017 by Calixta and her two working horses, Bill and Ben, they ploughed the first furrow and planted the initial vegetables and flowers, carefully cultivating a small market garden. Over the years, Calixta and her team have worked diligently to enhance the soil and biodiversity of their land, striving to make it both beautiful and abundant. Using regenerative and certified organic farming practices, they grow seasonal, nutritious, and flavourful produce that reflects their commitment to sustainable farming.
The Challenge
As Flourish expanded, the team needed a platform to support their new produce boxes for home delivery and collection points in Cambridge and London, alongside a wide range of high-quality extras, including pantry items, seasonal flowers, and market garden produce. Their previous setup split the farm shop and wholesale website, creating a disjointed customer experience and making it difficult to manage orders and subscriptions efficiently.
The Solution
By moving to Growing Good, Flourish was able to unify all operations into a single website while launching their produce box delivery service. The platform enabled them to build a regular subscription customer base from scratch, streamline order management, and allow customers to easily explore and purchase their large and diverse product range.
